About this service

Kobido is a Japanese facial massage technique with over 500 years of tradition, known as the 'ancient way of beauty'. At ChiroHarmonia, I perform professional Kobido combining facial muscle manipulation, lymphatic drainage, acupressure point stimulation, and in the extended version, transbuccal massage (from inside the cheeks). The treatment intensively works with 57 face and neck muscles, stimulating collagen and elastin production. Results are visible after the very first treatment — skin becomes more taut, facial contour more defined, and wrinkles shallower. Transbuccal massage additionally relaxes the masseter muscles (particularly recommended for teeth clenching and TMJ problems).

Frequently Asked Questions

Results are visible after the very first treatment — skin is more taut and radiant. For lasting results, I recommend a series of 4-6 treatments every 1-2 weeks, followed by monthly maintenance sessions.

Transbuccal massage is a technique involving massaging the cheek muscles from inside the oral cavity (with gloves). It intensively relaxes the masseter muscles, improves the lower face contour and is particularly effective for TMJ problems.

Yes, I adjust the technique to your skin type. For sensitive skin, I use gentler movements and less pressure. Before the treatment, I conduct a brief consultation to select the appropriate protocol.
